The Veterans for National Security Foundation to Hold Launch in Washington, DC on the Eve of the World War II Memorial Dedication Events

The newly-formed Veterans for National Security Foundation will hold its launch on the rooftop terrace of 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, DC on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. James V. Kimsey will provide keynote remarks. Mr. Kimsey is a distinguished West Point graduate, decorated Vietnam veteran, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of America Online (AOL) and Founder of the Kimsey Foundation.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 20, 2004 --The Veterans for National Security Foundation Chairman Shawn N. Olds announced that James V. Kimsey will provide keynote remarks at the organization's launch on Wednesday, May 26th.

Mr. Kimsey will address military, political and business leaders among other dignitaries at a private sunset reception from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the rooftop terrace of 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006.

Mr. Kimsey is a distinguished West Point graduate, decorated Vietnam veteran, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of America Online (AOL) and Founder of the Kimsey Foundation. More information about Mr. Kimsey can be found at www.kimseyfoundation.org.

The event will be co-hosted by GradPAC, and a diverse array of distinguished guests attending the event includes: Colonel (Retired) Jack Jacobs, Medal of Honor Recipient; Lieutenant Commander (Retired) Mike Thornton, Medal of Honor Recipient; Former Secretary of the Navy James Webb; Veterans Administration Under Secretary Jack Nicholson; Michael Montelongo, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force; Congressman Bob Beauprez; Judge Eugene Sullivan, Retired Chief Judge and CEO of the Gavel Consulting Group; Brigadier General (Retired) Steve Cheney, Chief Operating Officer of Business Executives for National Security; Bill Murdy, Chairman and CEO of Comfort Systems USA; Jim Tully, CEO of Orion International; Dr. Tom Carhart, author of West Point Warriors; David Lipsky, author of Absolutely American; Ed Ruggero, author of Combat Jump among many others.

The Veterans for National Security Foundation is a 501(c)(4) organization devoted to providing support to military veterans and leaders of character who desire to continue their selfless public service in federal office.

GradPAC is a national non-partisan political action committee comprised of graduates of West Point, Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
