Synair Receives Chrysler Gold Award

DaimlerChrysler and Dow Automotive recognize Synair Corporation of Chattanooga, Tennessee for outstanding supplier achievement placing Synair Corporation among DaimlerChrysler's highest rated suppliers.

DaimlerChrysler and Dow Automotive recognized Synair Corporation of Chattanooga, Tennessee this afternoon for outstanding supplier achievement at a ceremony held at the prestigious Lochmoor Golf and Country Club placing Synair Corporation among DaimlerChrysler's highest rated suppliers.

In presenting the Gold Award, DaimlerChrysler Senior Purchasing Manager, Mark Rawlings said, "The Synair Corporation was selected to receive the DaimlerChrysler Gold Award based on exemplary performance that is granted to an elite group of automotive suppliers who pass the rating levels established as criteria for recipients. These rating levels include exceptional performance in the areas of quality, technology, cost, customer service, and delivery.

Brad Pearson, Market Development Manager for Dow Automotive commented: "Synair has been a valued supplier to Dow Automotive of quality custom manufactured urethane systems since 1998, and to Dow Chemical since 1987. Synair has consistently demonstrated an eagerness to satisfy Dow's critical success factors which include technology, production turnaround and responsiveness, quality, and consistency."

The exclusive DaimlerChrysler Gold Award recognizes world-class performance. It is awarded to only a handful of the 2,000 DaimlerChrysler suppliers.

Accepting the Gold Award on behalf of Synair was Jeff Gomberg, Vice President of Operations and Global Business Development who commented: "This award is yet another indication of the global expertise and attention to quality that Synair Corporation brings to the chemical and automotive industries. I am proud of the outstanding efforts of our people and appreciative that our customers recognize the high level of service we provide.
