A laser-emitting triple-neck electric guitar plays seven parts simultaneously. A harp fused with wooden flutes, chimes, and viola strings is played by gems magically floating in the air. A one-string bass (the star" depicted on the DVD cover) hammers out notes with his arms while rocking back and forth to the beat.
The newly released groundbreaking DVD from Animusic captivates viewers from all walks of life, and all ages as well. The main program features seven incredible music animations where invented self-playing instruments come to life and perform virtual concerts. Each musical note is precisely played by fascinating instruments, sometimes reminiscent of existing instruments, and other times unlike any earthy object. Computer animation and digitally created music are melded to form an entirely new genre of entertainment.
Many viewers immediately place Animusic on par with such breakthrough acts as Stomp, Blue Man Group, and Mannheim Steamroller.

Company Background
Founded in 1996 by award-winning animator and musician Wayne Lytle (rhymes with bridal"), Animusic is an independent production studio hidden away in the hills of Upstate New York. Lytles software and animation talents have landed him work creating special effects for Hollywood feature films, including Starship Troopers" and What Dreams May Come" as well as visualizing complex scientific data for world-renowned scientists such as Brian Greene. However, his true passion is integrating computer animation and music. Far from both Hollywood and the Ivory Tower, he is following his dream: to create a new genre of entertainment.
The company plans to roll out a whole series of DVDs, each one featuring entirely new sets of imaginary invented instruments, existing only in the minds of their inventors, and the computer. Production of Animusic-2 is rapidly approaching completion.
Animusics work is produced with proprietary software called MIDImotion that allows MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) data to drive the movement of 3D graphical objects with extremely precise and realistic motion. The music is entirely synthesized, using high-end digital audio software.
