First Woman Receives Institute Lifetime Achievement Award
The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) presented its Lifetime Achievement Award to Marsha Denice Lewin, the first woman ever to receive the award. This Lifetime Achievement Award, only the fifth in the nearly 40-year history of the Institute, is given in recognition of outstanding service and exceptional contribution over a sustained period of years to the management consulting profession.

(PRWEB) May 22, 2004 --- On May 3, 2004, the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) presented its Lifetime Achievement Award to Marsha Denice Lewin, the first woman ever to receive the award. This Lifetime Achievement Award, only the fifth in the nearly 40-year history of the Institute, is given in recognition of outstanding service and exceptional contribution over a sustained period of years to the management consulting profession.

Marsha Lewin is president of Marsha D. Lewin Associates, a management consulting firm that has managed, designed and implemented many innovative information systems including the nationwide networks which monitored the reactivations of the Battleships Missouri and Wisconsin for the US Navy and prototype applications for the stock brokerage industry. Ms. Lewin holds an AB degree from Barnard College, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science summa cum laude from West Coast University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine Universitys Presidential/Key Executive program.
