" Pachyderm was actually formed out of a direct need for a dedicated 2nd unit to shoot FX plates for our VFX Company, b.inc VFX Production Services (http://www.bincvfx.com). We were shooting on a rather large feature film production and our VFX plates were suffering because we were at the mercy of main units very tight schedule. Rekha (Rekha Kalra, Producer/co-founder) had commented on how much easier it would have been if we had our own small unit to shoot the plates and not have to interrupt the Director during important main unit photography.... so there it was.
