Arete Films, LLC To Produce Feature Film Pizza Palace"
Newly formed Baltimore company, Arete Films, to produce feature film "Pizza Palace", directed by Rodhames Lopez.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) May 25, 2004 --Arete Films, LLC of Baltimore, Maryland announces it is in pre-production for an independent feature film entitled Pizza Palace". The film will be shot in the Baltimore area, and is labeled as a dramatic comedy. The theme of the story is of a Baltimore teenager of Greek American heritage who comes of age in the film. Extensive auditions were conducted over the last two months and public announcement of the selected cast members is expected shortly.
Mr. Radhames Lopez of Timonium, Maryland will direct Pizza Palace", and is being assisted by Marie Ridgley, who managed the casting calls. Executive producers of Pizza Palace" are George Kardulias of Herndon, Virginia and Kyriakos Marudas of Baltimore. Mr. Marudas also co-wrote the screenplay.
A teaser for the film will be shot in Baltimore on June 5, 2004. This event will be open to the press with prior notification.
