Wyoming ESGR Committee to Salute Wyoming's National Guardsmen, Reservists and the Supportive Employers

The Patriotic event will feature speakers from the Wyoming National Guard and Reserve, along with local employers who will receive ESGR Awards.

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) May 25, 2004 --The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense Agency, announced today that the Wyoming ESGR Committee will salute Wyomings National Guardsmen, Reservists, and their Supportive Employers on Thursday, May 27, 2004 during an event in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Hitching Post Inn, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.

Saluting Americas Employers is the right thing to do, and this is the right time to do it", said Bob Hollingsworth, ESGR Executive Director. During this time of unprecedented mobilizations of the brave men and women of the Wyoming National Guard and Reserve, ESGR is honoring those employers who have demonstrated Above and Beyond" support for their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve".

The event will feature military members of the Wyoming National Guard and Reserve along with local employers who will receive ESGR awards. A NASCAR show car, known as Americas Car, will be parked at the Hitching Post Inn were the public can have their pictures taken with the car, and sign several large Support Our Troops" banners that will be sent to our servicemen and women stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and elsewhere in the world. This is part of a nationwide campaign to collect 1.2 million signatures, one for every Guardsman and Reservist who currently serves the nation.
