The Dybbuk of B'nai Torah
The Dybbuk, a play of supernatural adventure and romance will take place at Temple B'nai Torah. There will be a showing on Thursday evening, June 3rd at 7:30 pm and another on Sunday, June 6th at 2:30 pm.
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) May 25, 2004 --A light entertainment for the whole family about the mysteries of love and faith, based on The Dybbuk" by S. Anski. Adapted and directed by Temple B'nai Torah congregant and playwright, Sharyn Shipley, the play is described as "Romeo and Juliet" meet "The Exorcist". When a marriage between two young lovers is forbidden, the young man becomes a dybbuk, a supernatural creature who possesses his beloved. The Rabbi and the congregation join together to free the living girl from this supernatural possession.
