Cheflive to remodel home studio
It seems things are going really well in Las Vegas, Nevada for Chef John Guinivere and his website, www.Cheflive.com and www.cheflive.tv
(PRWEB) May 25, 2004 --It seems things are going really well in Las Vegas, Nevada for Chef John Guinivere and his website, www.Cheflive.com and www.cheflive.tv
After creating a dynamic website for chefs and culinary aficionados, Cheflive went outside the cyber community to procure actual living space in a downtown, urban re-development project known as The Holsum Lofts". Plans are currently being drawn to build a culinary center and studio to open in September 2004.
Now that everything is in place, things have grown so quickly", says John Guinivere, President of Cheflive Inc. Once people see that we are here to stay, executing our original business plan, we are seeing a much more interested client. When we share with them our current events, their response has been really extraordinary".
So extraordinary, in fact, that Cheflive has a second studio being remodeled that can serve as their home-base while the Holsum project goes through city planning.
With filming scheduled to start in July, for a cooking show that will air locally and on their website, along with several companies approaching Cheflive for their promotional services, they needed a place to start filming right away. So they choose to remodel a kitchen which will be fully documented on television and the internet. The remodel location? John Guiniveres personal kitchen at home.
We really need to have a domestic kitchen that the home enthusiast can relate to, performing with all the style and panache of a professional kitchen in a comfortable setting", added Guinivere. We will have all the digital equipment, all the lighting needed for quality production, and the viewer will feel as if they are sitting at my kitchen counter watching a meal being prepared just for them".
Viking range corporation was very generous in supplying the kitchen equipment for the home studio. A pro-style range, refrigeration, and high end ventilation will be seen in the backdrop of all of Cheflives programming.
For the structural portion of the remodel, there was no one else to whom the staff at Cheflive could turn without first talking to Max Butterworth, a premiere custom homebuilder in Las Vegas. Max stepped right up to the plate and agreed to take care of all the structural elements of the project, even though this is a smaller job than the million plus homes Max is accustomed to building.
For cabinetry, John turned to long time friends and business associates, Steve and Sophia Kiss, owners of Kiss Cabinets. The professional craftsmanship provided by such a respected local cabinet builder will be the glue that pulls the project together.
Filming begins next week, with the first airing of the program to begin in July.
Upon completion of the kitchen, filming will begin on at least two cooking format programs. One will be a 14 volume, DVD set to be put together by Chef Jacques Van Staden from Alize` restaurant, located at the top of the Palms Hotel. The other one will deal with low-carb and diabetic recipes for people with special dietary concerns, by Chef John Guinivere himself.
The viewer will see the kitchen under construction, make friends with the cast and crew, then sit back and enjoy the show.
AND away we go!
