Cost-effective Fiber Depolarizer

(PRWEB) May 26, 2004 -- FiberLogix Ltd a manufacturer of passive devices and specialty optical fiber launches cost-effective ProtoDel All-fiber Depolarizer. Based on fused fiber configuration, devices offer low insertion loss, very low DoP with affordable prices. The target applications are Optical fiber sensors, Raman laser sources, SLD, ELED and SOA based laser sources. These devices are designed to provide high performance such as Degree of Polariation (DoP)1% and Insertion loss 0.3dB coupled with virtually zero back reflection and wide operating wavelength range including, 800,980,1060,1250-1625nm. The devices are passive in nature and offers All-fiber configuration.They are offered at very affordable and cost effective prices. This can only be possible as company produces its own Polarization maintaining fiber including Panda like and Bow tie fiber. The company will be offering these devices at 50% less prices as compared to other vendors for this product with same or higher optical performance.

Fiber Depolarizers are offered either in standard Box packaging or in 125um bare fiber configuration with fused part recoated. The devices can be tailored for customer requirements for output and input fiber configuration, with an integrated input fiber polarizer and range of input optical source linewidth.
