(PRWEB) May 27, 2004 -- CBOSS Association became an associated member of the Russian-Arab Business Council. This step is aimed to expand the companys presence in the global market and strengthen its status as an international corporation.

The Arab market is one of the most promising for CBOSS products. Xpress Telecommunication, one of the major cellular operators in Jordan, has successfully deployed a number of CBOSS products. CBOSS leaders are confident that the membership in the Russian-Arab Business Council will expand the business geography of CBOSS Association and uphold its image as one of leading IT market players.

The starting point in establishment of the Russian-Arab Business Council is the cooperation agreement by and between Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation and General Union of chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture for Arab countries signed on July 17, 2002 in Moscow. The incumbent Chairman of the Council is Vladimir Evtushenkov, Chairman of Board of Directors at JSFC "Sistema".

The press service of the Russian-Arab Business Council stressed that information technologies is key sphere of cooperation between Russia and the Middle East countries. Now that CBOSS has become a member of the council, this cooperation will gain new impetus.
