This Fathers Day, Coconut Grove comes alive with the sounds of Fête De La Musique, the first one if its kind to be held in Coconut Grove. The festival is free and open to everyone.

Coconut Grove, FL (PRWEB) May 28, 2004 -- From 4pm onwards, the streets of Coconut Grove will be filled with performers and musicians, celebrating world music day and the start of summer - the summer solstice. Professional and amateurs alike will be performing every type of musical genre ranging from Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Funk, Pop, Blues and Soul to the more traditional classic as well as oldies. Based on the French festival established in 1982 to bring music to the masses, the music everywhere and the concert nowhere", this years festival promises to be a spectacular event with homegrown talent, as well as international musicians appearing on 5 stages and throughout the streets.

An incredible line-up of musicians is guaranteed with performances from Mantra, Protocol, Tony Madruga, Ballet Flamenco la Rossa, Wilfredo Cardoso, Kida Blue Blues Band, Moonshyne Brown, Kirk Whilpple, Marylin Morales and Habanera to name just a few.
