Phoenix Staff, Inc. Expanding to Las Vegas

One of Arizona's fastest growing Recruiting firms announced today that it plans to open a Las Vegas office on June 2, 2004. The opportunities that have been created for the company are based on a unique business model that capitalizes on C-level relationship building.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 28, 2004 -- Phoenix Staff, Inc. a Phoenix, AZ based recruiting and staffing firm announced that it will be opening an office in Las Vegas, NV on June 2, 2004. The company made the announcement after months of market research and planning. There are obvious differences between the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets -- however, one thing that remains consistent is the notion that people prefer doing business with people they know and who help the local economy by having a local presence. We believe we are demonstrating our level of commitment to the community and our goal to help the Las Vegas economy grow as we grow by having an office physically located in downtown Las Vegas," said Allen Plunkett, President of Phoenix Staff, Inc.

Plunkett worked for another firm in Las Vegas nearly 3 years ago and the city has been an obvious choice for the companys second location since Phoenix Staff began operations in 2002. Many people will see the name and immediately think that Phoenix Staff is an Arizona only company -- having started during the worst economy in years, the name seemed to fit well with the companys plan of rising from the ashes" of an industry that was, for the most part, seeing large reductions in force or firms that were closing their doors altogether.

Phoenix Staff has adopted a philosophy that is often talked about, but seldom practiced -- relationship building. Mike Squires, Vice President of Business Development said, The team we have assembled has been able to foster relationships that have lasted for many years. The fact that our clients continue to work with us is attributable, I believe, to a few things; first, is the fact that we have not experienced any internal turnover - stability of a staff in this industry, especially at this time, is hard to find; also, we have tremendous communication internally which allows us to handle situations as they arise, quickly and efficiently; finally, clients appreciate one point of contact, who not only knows the candidate being presented to their company, but who has met or spoken with that candidate -- this is a practice that many agencies do not have, but is a practice by which we live."

Phoenix Staff hosts what is known as the Phoenix CIO Breakfast" and will initiate a similar event in Las Vegas, aptly named the Las Vegas CIO Breakfast. Since technology-based recruiting has been the core competency of the company since inception, this venue allows them to have a deeper understanding of the technology community and thus educates them on the current and future needs for talent within the companies with which they partner.

We are very excited about this new venture in Las Vegas. We have been fortunate enough to employ many of the unemployed and garner better positions for the 'under-employed in Phoenix," said Plunkett, it will be a great and welcome challenge to replicate these efforts in Las Vegas."

Phoenix Staff, Inc. is a technology-based recruiting and staffing firm headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. The firm was founded in 2002 and places people in contract and full-time positions.
