Love Is...
They are two of the worlds most iconographic figures -- the simple boy and girl of the world famous Love Is..." newspaper cartoons. Begun in the late 60s as a series of love letters from creator Kim Casali to her then boyfriend (and future husband) Roberto, Love Is... has authentically retro roots. After first being published in the LA Times in 1970, it soon blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon reaching over 100 million people. With over 9000 original panels, the cartoon is still published daily in the US as well as around the world in over 50 publications. The property is now managed globally by Stefano Casali, one of Kims three sons.
