Riverside, CA (PRWEB) May 29, 2004 --Come Reason Ministries has announced the date of its second event in the increasingly popular Christian apologetics conference series, Dare To Defend. The one-day conference promises to be a life-changing experience, where participants will hear from some of the best apologetics minds in America today.

Building on the tremendous response from the first event last October, Come Reason Ministries has confirmed the following speakers and topics for its June 26 event:

> J.P. Moreland, Ph.D., Talbot School of Theology -- The Intelligence of Believing in Gods Existence (Synopsis: This session focuses on one of the classic philosophical questions of all time -- Does God exist?". Dr. Moreland will demonstrate how the belief in God is the only rational position thinking people can take.)

> Frank Beckwith, Ph.D., J.M. Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies, Baylor University -- Faith vs. Reason: Are They Compatible? (Synopsis: In this session, Dr. Beckwith will demonstrate why Christianity is an inherently rational faith...and that you do not have to abandon reason to believe in Christianity.)

> Lenny Esposito, Come Reason Ministries -- How You Can Know the Bible is Really From God (Synopsis: With the growing popularity of books such as The DaVinci Code, the authority of the Bible has been challenged. This session will demonstrate the logic of believing the Bible as the REAL Word of God and how Christians can confidently defend their trust in the Bible.)

> Walter Russell, Ph.D., Talbot School of Theology -- How To Untwist the Scriptures (Synopsis: In this session, Dr. Russell will demonstrate how to read the Scriptures more carefully in order to avoid taking passages out of context and twisting them around, as cults often do to support their claims.)

> Craig Hazen, Ph.D., Biola University -- How the Resurrection Stacks Up as History (Synopsis: Dr. Hazen will examine the evidence to show that the resurrection is the most well attested fact of the ancient world and how the skeptics own arguments prove the validity of the resurrection accounts.)

The conferences aim is to equip Christians to be assured that Christianity is intellectually feasible...to be able to understand the basic objections to the Christian worldview and answer them...and to have the confidence to initiate objections to opposing viewpoints and the problems they present.

The one-day conference, hosted by the Mens Bible Fellowship at Harvest, will include uplifting worship led by the Harvest Praise Band, a Q&A session, and five inspiring lecture sessions.
