Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 31, 2004 --The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a non-profit membership organization of over 10,000 energy professionals and a Rebuild America Partner is pleased to announce that Baxter Healthcare Corporation has selected the 2004 World Energy Engineering Congress as their location to hold their International Baxter Energy Engineering Conference.

The Baxter Energy Engineering Conference is held every two years and is a global conference. Previously they have had over seventy people representing 41 facilities from over twenty different countries. All of the Baxter's facilities are requested to send at least one representative. The conference is seen by Baxter senior management to add significant value and save energy costs and has given their full support of the program initiative.

According to Brian Douglas, Director of E-Commerce & Business Development with AEE, "The Baxter meeting demonstrates their corporate commitment to reducing energy costs, improving their operations, strengthening their return on investment (ROI); and at the same time do great things for the environment, their employees, and the world economy through productivity gains. We invite other visionary companies to hold events with the 27th Annual Energy Congress. Energy efficiency is good for business, good for the economy and great for the environment. Its like a triple crown win."

Each Baxter facility that is represented has to report on three energy projects that they had committed to in the previous conference and now have completed. The reporting of these projects shares all the ideas at one time.
