Author Pens Long Awaited Details of Botham/Miracle Murders.

Colorado Cold Case -- the Botham/Miracle Murders, by Marti Talbott, is the true story of a woman who became unintentionally involved in a murder case and went to great lengths to keep her identity a secret -- until now.

(PRWEB) June 2, 2004 --In 1975, the disappearance of Pat Botham, Linda Miracle and Lindas two toddler sons, and the later discovery of their bodies, resulted in the conviction of Pat Bothams husband, Kenneth. Then in 1981, the Colorado Supreme Court overturned his conviction and ordered a new trial. Although the results were the same, new evidence presented during the second trial in Golden, CO, caused many familiar with the case to question his guilt.

Challenged to attend the first trial by a friend over tea, Marti Talbott believed she witnessed an officer of the law commit perjury. But in a small community where cops protect each other, there was no one to tell without putting her own life in danger. So she waited, watched, listened and learned while Ken Botham was sent to the gas chamber. For years she remained silent, even though she gained insight into a possible connection between this case and the earlier murder of a woman and a little girl. Ken Bothams second trial only served to confirm her suspicions, and to this day she still isnt convinced they convicted the right man.

Just released, Colorado Cold Case -- the Botham/Miracle Murders, presents the facts in an easy to understand manor, documents new details and allows the reader to sit on the jury. Additionally, the author gives the reader a glimpse into the character of a man on death row and into the lives of the forgotten victims in this case -- Ken and Pat Bothams two sons, who survived that awful night.

The Botham/Miracle murders were committed nearly 30 years ago. Did they convict the right man? If not, the real killer is still out there. Marti Talbott leaves it up to the reader to decide.

Colorado Cold Case --the Botham/Miracle Murders, is available at Barns & Noble, Amazon.com, Books a Million, Powell Books, Blackwells, America House Publishers, or at local bookstores. ISBN 1-4137-1375-0.
