Gianatasio Announces State Senate Bid - New York State Senate - District 37

Michael Gianatasio announced that he will be running for State Senator in District 37. Mr. Gianatasio recently received the Westchester GOP nomination as well as the Westchester Independence Party endorsement.

(PRWEB) June 2, 2004 -- As a Westchester County resident it is apparent that District 37 has been controlled by career politicians that have one agenda. It is no longer the voice of the people that their decisions affect, but the agenda of themselves. Every year we complain and the incumbent expects to get a free pass to the next election with little resistance. I plan to make that change and take my complaint to the people of the District so we can affect positive change that will create results. Your current New York Senator has been unchallenged for the past 20 years. It is obvious that it is time for an objective look at the issues and problems facing the young and the old in our State and County Government. We must all be held accountable and after a review of the current report card of the Senator it is obvious that is not the case. Accountability and Fiscal responsibility are two major components that we will share in my race for the Senate.
