(ECI) expanded its existing services with the acquisition of VoipAge Telecommunications, LLC., including its retail division that offers telephone calling cards and VoIP-based dial tone service over broadband to its customers. Features include high quality, reliability, and security, automatic failsafe to local line and 911 access.

European Connection, Inc. (ECI) expanded its existing services with the acquisition of VoipAge Telecommunications, LLC., including its retail division that offers telephone calling cards and VoIP-based dial tone service over broadband to its customers.

VoipAge operations remain intact, and are now the VoipAge division of ECI. Unique features of the service include a VoIP protocol that is secure and reliable, excellent Quality of Service, automatic rollover to local telephone line in the event of power failure or loss of IP connection, and local 911 service.

ECI will continue to service VoipAge customers and plans immediate expansion of all aspects of the business. VoipAge provides complete wholesale and retail Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions to customers worldwide, including providing USA phone numbers at any location worldwide, thus giving customers a virtual presence in the USA.

With an emphasis on Customer Premise Gateway (CPG) telephony solutions for residential and small-to-medium business, VoipAge offers competitive local dial tone and global Long Distance rates, real-time on-line billing information, and web-based customer service solutions that allow for distributed, "virtual" global account management and assistance, without the need for high-cost customer service centers.
