About the company:
S.M.A.C.K. DVD Magazine, which debuted in November 2002, is a quarterly DVD-magazine that focuses on the various contents of the entertainment, fashion and sports industries as it relates to Hip Hop. Since its inception, the magazine has taken the urban community by storm.
S.M.A.C.K., an acronym for Streets, Music, Arts, Culture and Knowledge, forms a channel of communication between hip-hop celebrities and their audiences by showcasing live interview footage. Our magazine also lets the viewers experience events such as car shows, basketball tournaments, fashion shows, concert footage and street battles as opposed to just reading about it. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but live footage tells the whole story.
The overall content of the magazine is geared toward a unisex audience ranging between the ages of 18 and 35, yet Smack DVD targets the urban, hip-hop community.
