In conjunction with SMS Data Source, I-one2one interactive marketing; Kroll Direct Marketing is offering the industryÂs first database of consumers able to receive short SMS text messages on their cell phones. The SMS messages arrive at the recipients cell phone instantaneously allowing for immediate response based advertising or marketing campaigns.
Relevant messages will currently limited to three messages per month to each recipient, the program is priced according to message volume. Over 113 million cell phone numbers are available, with an additional 12 million numbers for beepers/pagers/hand held devices that also have the capability of receiving text messages.

The 160 characters also include the provision for the opt-in, opt out or take off list (tol) option.

*Selection by cell phone carrier is offered at a premium charge of an additional $50/M for carriers: AT&T and Cingular. An additional charge of $25/M for cell phone carriers: Nextel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile and Verizon.
Kroll Direct Marketing is offering a 10% commission rate to recognized list brokers and advertising agencies on the base rate and selection charges.
