San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 7, 2004 --Delvian Records announced the signing of Jazz-New Age artist Gary Boggs to Delvians national distribution network and the much-anticipated debut of his digitally remastered album Motion." This album, combining tracks carefully taken from archived 16mm tape and new work all digitally remastered by Gary Boggs and Delvian, is sophisticated guitar-driven Jazz spiced with a Worldbeat/Electronic twist that immediately brings to mind Wayne Shorter, Carlos Santana, Stanley Jordan and Miles Davis.
While on a Berklee Scholarship at the Berklee College of Music (where the ensemble charts he produced are still being used by the guitar department), Boggs was influenced by well-known composer and orchestrator Mike Gibbs and Herb Pomeroy, one of the premier arrangers in the world. He learned the range of Boston jazz guitar" wisdom and took it to another level, combining diverse elements of sound and rhythm in new and visionary ways, all in true Jazz fashion. Having performed worldwide, most recently in the select Jazz scene of Paris, France, where he received high accolades, Boggs is already at work on another completely-new album to be released worldwide by Delvian.
