Novinite.com Awarded No.1 at Internaltional Media Festival

Leading Bulgarian News portal - Novinite.com has been named best news website at an International media festival in Albena.

(PRWEB) June 8, 2004 -- Leading Bulgarian News portal - Novinite.com has been named best news website at an International media festival in Albena.

Eleven online medias competed for the award.

First award was assigned to Novinite.com by an international jury, including media experts from Greece, Turkey, Germany, and Bulgaria.

Another site created, developed and maintained by M3 Communications Group, Inc. - MobileBulgaria (www.mobilebulgaria.com) was awarded 3rd place in the e-business category.

Novinite.com was launched in 2001 and since then turned to one of the most influential media in Bulgaria. Recently the web site management decided to re-brand Novinite.com accepting the name Sofia News Agency (www.sofianewsagency.com). "It shows the ambitions of the team to start covering more topics and stories 24 hours daily", Behar added. Brand new design of the site is planned to come out soon. It has been already done and approved by the agency management.

Novinite.com team publishes also on a daily base online newspaper Sofia Morning News with about 14,000 subscribers all over the world. Thousands of media quote nowadays Novinite.com everyday as reliable source of information not only about Bulgaria, but also about Europe and other parts of the world.

MobileBulgaria.com is a relatively new business of the Group, but since it was launched in January 2004 immediately became Bulgaria's most visited nline place for mobile communications.

Prizes were handed out in 13 other categories for online medias. That included online shops, corporate, educational, institutional and personal web pages, as well as Internet portals.

The International Media Events are organized in the luxurious coastal resort for the tenth time this year. The festival is thought to be one of the major events for media business in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Web Festival is a special contest, part of the Albena 2004 agenda.
