The Paul & Georgia Album released...at last!

Paul Ferrara, official photographer for The Doors, co-writer of the band's "Waiting for the Sun", and one of Jim Morrison's closest friends announces the release of his long overdue debut album.

(PRWEB) June 10, 2004 -- Paul Ferrara, official photographer for The Doors, co-writer of the band's "Waiting for the Sun", and one of Jim Morrison's closest friends announces the release of his long overdue debut album. The Paul and Georgia Album is a compilation of songs written and recorded during the sixties. Folksy tunes intertwine with the blues, country, and rock 'n' roll of The Doors' era.

Paul originally met Jim Morrison along with keyboardist Ray Manzarek back in the early sixties at the UCLA film school. Often dubbed "The Fifth Door", Paul carried his camera around the globe and took the most famous shots of the "Lizard King." His work has been featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and on numerous Doors videos. Paul and Georgia's song "Bald Mountain" is featured on Jim Morrison's yet to be released film "HWY", a movie Paul directed and filmed.

Discover these beautifully written songs as well as Georgia's amazing voice, which rivals the likes of Grace Slick and Janis Joplin. Actor and musician Tim McIntire joins the couple on several tracks, as do Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore.

You've seen his work...now hear it! Available at CDBaby.com.
