Alpha Golf Dominates Des Moines Long Drive

Played by 10 of the 14 Long Drive finalists, Alpha Golf titanium drivers dominated the Long Drive Tour event in Des Moines, Ill., winning two out of three division titles.

Alpha players using the titanium C830.2 and Version 2 (425cc) drivers tagged up to handily win the Senior and Womens divisions and claim half of the money positions in the Open division. Overall, Alpha drivers were played by 10 of the top 14 Long Drive finalists.

Taking one of the coveted division titles this weekend, top LDA contender and Alpha Team member John Tutty of Fullerton, Calif., blasted a 370-yard smash with an Alpha driver that won the Senior division. Meanwhile fellow Alpha player Lisa Vlooswyk hammered a 316-yard drive to take first place for the women.
