Arete Films Announces Teaser Completed for Feature Pizza Palace"
Arete Films announces the names of the cast of Pizza Palace". Director Rod Lopez is inviting the press to meet the cast on the set during principal photography.
(PRWEB) June 12, 2004 -- Arete Films, LLC of Baltimore, Maryland is producing an independent feature film entitled Pizza Palace". Preproduction has been completed and main production is underway. Filming for the teaser was completed last weekend and will be available to the general public by early July 2004.
Labeled as a dramatic comedy, principal photography for the film will be shot in the Baltimore area. The theme of the story is of a Baltimore teenager of Greek American heritage who comes of age in the film. The teenager named Alex Corey is befriended by a Greek immigrant restaurateur named George Stamakos who instills responsibility into Alex. The role of the teenager will be played by veteran actor Carl Anthony Tramon and the Stamakos role will be played by George Kardulias.

Rod Lopez of Timonium, Maryland will direct Pizza Palace", and has invited the media to meet the cast during principal photography starting on July 24, 2004, primarily at the Samos restaurant in Baltimore.
Executive producers of Pizza Palace" are George Kardulias of Herndon, Virginia and Kyriakos Marudas of Baltimore. Mr. Marudas also co-wrote the screenplay.
