International Accounting Firm Association Builds Strong Network of Firms in Rapidly Growing Markets

UK (PRWEB) June 12, 2004 -- Alliott Group, the worldwide association of independent firms of accountants, auditors and tax consultants, is growing its network of professional services firms in the Asia Pacific Region. The global firm association has expanded its membership in the critical high-growth economies of India and China.

Even with the current media backlash concerning offshore outsourcing, Asia continues to see double-digit growth. The Gartner Group, an international research and consulting group headquartered in the United States, predicts that the current outsourcing market in Asia is worth about US$4.7 billion. Estimates are that it will grow to $8.3 billion by 2006, with a compound annual growth rate of 18.5 percent. Beyond the Fortune 500 small and midsized companies in a wide range of industries are saving money and streamlining services by taking advantage of the high quality/low cost labor resources in Asia. And as the region continues to grow its high tech economy, the outsourcing of management-fee consulting contracts in the region are expected to top US$12.5 billion by 2006.
