The Judith House For Girls
We have a vision to open an Emergency Shelter for abused and abandoned children immediately.
(PRWEB) June 12, 2004 -- The Judith house will be staffed for emergency shelter 24x7. we will also provide foster care, respite care, and a safe house for girls who are abused, neglected, abandoned, or in transitional situations. The shelter will be under direct supervision of the founder and Executive Director of United Christian Services, Inc. Dr. Maggie C. Faulkner.
The services will include health screening, immediate crisis and situationally appropriate counceling, safe and stable evironment, assistance with basic personal needs, tutoring and other academic interventions and much more.
Our shelter will be the only one of its kind in our county and services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We need donations, volunteers, and funding help since it is all done out of pocket right now and is very hard to keep up but is a very nessesary place for these children.We can be contacted at 1726 nebraska ave.
