Girls Against Boredom take Do It Yourself by Storm

Small-town Texas girl heads to Hollywood and lands TV appearances with her jewelry designs

(PRWEB) June 15, 2004 -- Girls Against Boredom ...a funky alternative to pearls, designer Gail-Ann Bradshaw has been tapped by the Do It Yourself Network (A Scripps Networks cable channel) to appear in all three seasons of its new series DIY Jewelry Making" hosted by Jackie Guerra.

This month, in her second appearance on DIY Jewelry Making, Gail-Ann demonstrates how to make a Lariat-style necklace with liquid silver and sparkling glass bead accents.

Airtimes (Pacific): June 15 at 7am and 12pm, June 19th at 1pm, June 20 at 2:30pm, June 24th at 7am and 12pm.

Gail-Ann Bradshaw grew up in the small Texas town of Graham and always dreamed of an artistic career. When it came time for college she chose Barnard in New York City and took up art history with a passion. Moving to Hollywood to pursue her artistic dreams, her jewelry designs have been setting the trend. As a result, she has been asked to appear on three seasons of TV, thanks also in part to her on-camera acting experience.

Girls Against Boredom ...a funky alternative to pearls, started in New York City in 2001 under the direction Gail-Ann Bradshaw. A Native-Texan, alumna of Fort Worth Country Day School and naturalized-Manhattanite, she received a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University.
