Real Digital Media Names New Chief Executive Officer

Appointment Key to Finalizing Private Placement

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) June 14, 2004 -- Real Digital Media (RDM), a leading provider of next generation digital signage technology for point of purchase marketing and promotions, today announced the formal appointment of Ken Goldberg as its Chief Executive Officer.

As of May 1st, 2004, Goldberg has assumed chief executive responsibilities, joining an executive team that includes President Mike Baron and Vice President of System Sales and Product Development Dale Johnson. Both will remain as key employees of the company, and will work closely with Goldberg on company strategy, business development and sales.

Goldberg will focus on two key areas of RDM's business: charting the vision and course for RDM's future and product development, and forging strategic partnerships that complement and exploit RDM's digital signage expertise.

"More than ever, advertisers and vendors are looking for effective ways to have their message seen and heard outside the home while retaining the ability to segment and target audiences," said Ken Goldberg, RDM's CEO. "In the new market of digital signage, RDM is already poised to become a major player. The founders and previous management team have built what I believe is a great company in a market segment poised for amazing growth over the next decade."

Prior to RDM, Ken Goldberg was co-founder and president of CFT Consulting, a leading provider of retail systems consulting. CFT was sold to Answerthink in 1999. Goldberg remained with Answerthink until January 2003, where he was a member of the leadership team and was instrumental in the company's integration of CFT's retail practice into Answerthink's offering. Goldberg started his career with a 21-store women's apparel chain in the northeast and was a Manager in Deloitte & Touche's national retail practice before starting his own company. Goldberg has spent the last year as an angel investor and has served on the boards of a number of technology companies.

Real Digital Media Concludes Private Placement

In related news, the Directors of Real Digital Media are pleased to announce the completion of a private placement in the amount of $750,000. The new capital will be used to fund accelerated product development and channel sales and marketing efforts.
