Dotmarketer LLC Introduces The Pope Blog: Tracking Pope John Paul II

Unofficial news source provides commentary about the Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church and syndicates stories from Catholic and Vatican City newswires

(PRWEB) June 16, 2004 -- Dotmarketer LLC has announced the launch of a non-profit project, The Pope Blog (http://thepopeblog.blogspot.com).

The Web sites self-stated goal is to provide Unofficial news and information about His Holiness, Pope John Paul II." Initial posts on the weblog centered upon topics such as the Pontiffs views on sovereignty being returned to the Iraqi people.

A representative from Dotmarketer LLC stated that the company would not attempt to secure any revenue from the Web site, which is hosted by a free service, Blogspot. Jimmy Atkinson lent his design services to the project and Michael Johnston donated his time to perform search marketing for the new site. Simply put, I love the Pope, and thats why I have no problem helping out with a project such as this," said Johnston.

The Web sites design is based on the look and feel of the official Web site of the Holy See, although the graphics were created uniquely for this project. Said Atkinson, I wanted to create a sense of holiness befitting our beloved Pontiff, without stifling anyone."

Dotmarketer LLC is a privately held company based in Los Angeles, California. For more information, please visit http://www.dotmarketer.com.
