Bow Wow Wow with No Doubt's drummer Adrian Young all set to play at 19 Broadway Niteclub!
Annabella Lwin, Leigh Gorman, Adrian Young, and Philip Gough head to Marin County August 7, 2004.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 16, 2004 -- Original Bow Wow Wow singer Annabella Lwin and bassist Leigh Gorman have drafted No Doubt drummer Adrian Young for a handful of tour dates that include a stop at 19 Broadway Niteclub in Fairfax, Marin County, California on August 7, 2004. Young will be filling the seat of original drummer Dave Barbarossa, who opted out due to commitments with the U.K. act Chicane. On stage, the group will be rounded out by guitarist Phil Gough of the reggae band Common Sense, filling the role of the late Matthew Ashman, who died of complications relating to diabetes in 1995.
The band formed in 1980 by former Sex Pistols' manager Malcolm McLaren and fronted with Lwin are best known for their hits like `Go Wild in the Country and `I Want Candy. Bow Wow Wow's unique style created a wonderful antithesis to the gloom of the London and U.S. music scene in the early 80s. Their music ranges from simple, goofy, non-sensical tunes to complex, crisp pop masterpieces.
