New 4-Watt LED Flashlight From Tektite Excursion® LS4 -- Powered by the new Luxeon® III Star

Tektite continues to demonstrate its leadership in the development of LED dive lights with the Excursion LS4, the first dive light to use the new Luxeon® III Star LED.

TRENTON, NJ (PRWEB) June 17, 2004 --- Tektite continues to demonstrate its leadership in the development of LED dive lights with the Excursion LS4, the first dive light to use the new Luxeon® III Star LED.

This Luxeon III Star LED flashlight utilizes specialized optics to produce an ultra-tight 10-degree beam pattern, with light output equivalent to 39+ of our regular LEDs. The spot beam pattern of the Excursion LS4 is designed to pierce through murky water with minimal backscatter. Divers will appreciate the solar-quality white light (5,500 K) of the Excursion LS4, which provides improved color rendition and increased beam throw. Burn time is 10+ hours with 10 additional hours of usable light, providing divers with a large safety margin in terms of battery life. An optional Nite-Ize Grip 'n Clip adds a comfortable hand strap and a clip for lanyard attachment.
