The Tennessee State Conference NAACP will hold its Bi-Monthly Meeting on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 9:00AM at St. John Baptist Church, Tiny Town Rd, Clarksville, Tennessee 37042.

The primary focus of this meeting will be to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision by Assessing the Price, Identifying the Promise and Mapping the Course of Progress" of Brown 50 years and beyond.

(PRWEB) June 17, 2004 -- The Tennessee State Conference NAACP will hold its Bi-Monthly Meeting on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 9:00AM at St. John Baptist Church, Tiny Town Rd, Clarksville, Tennessee 37042. Lunch will be provided for a fee of no more than $7.00.

The primary focus of this meeting will be to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision by Assessing the Price, Identifying the Promise and Mapping the Course of Progress" of Brown 50 years and beyond.

Many of you have already hosted several functions and activities to commemorative this event. We would like for you to share details of your activities at this meeting and identify those individuals in your community who played a role in desegregation in the educational arena (e.g., students, teachers, community leaders, parents, lawyers, etc.). We would like to invite these individuals to come and be recognize for their spirit of sacrifice and boldness to stand on the demands for equality.

Please know that it is important that all units be adequately represented at this meeting. There will be information presented and discussed that will be essential to each of you.
