Seasonal Work AUSTRALIA Launches Dedicated Website Linking Seasonal Employers & Workers
Seasonal Work AUSTRALIA launches its website providing seasonal work job listings to link Australian employers and prospective workers.
(PRWEB) June 17, 2004 -- Seasonal Work AUSTRALIA today announced the launch of Australia's first website dedicated to linking employers with seasonal workers on The Great Australian Harvest Trail - www.seasonalwork.com.au
Proprietor Mr Phil Rallings said that from today Australian employers would be able to directly target skilled seasonal workers throughout Australia and the world.
"Australian employers now have a singular web presence solely devoted to their seasonal labour requirements", said Mr Rallings.
"Detailed job listings are placed directly to the website by the employer using a username and password", says Mr Rallings . "Applicants apply for the advertised position via contact details supplied by the employer".
Job placements are split into around 50 categories from Caretaking & Maintenance to Viticulture.
According to Mr Rallings the job search facility encourages domestic and overseas workers to apply for only those positions where they possess the requisite job skills as well as a valid Australian work permit.
"Employers have little time to filter out unskilled applicants so our target market expects us to provide a service that values its time", said Mr Rallings. "We feel this unique service will be not only welcomed, it will become highly sought after".
Mr Rallings said that Seasonal Work AUSTRALIA was based on a proven business model already operating in New Zealand - www.seasonalwork.co.nz - a successful, highly respected NZ seasonal work placement employment service.
"We are delighted to be partnered by Seasonal Work NZ", said Mr Rallings. "Seasonal Work AUSTRALIA will draw on the skills and experience of its sister site in New Zealand.
"Our aim is to replicate this demonstrated and proven service in the Australian marketplace", he said.
Proprietor of Seasonal Work NZ, Ms Janine Arnerich agrees the partnership is a natural progression for her business.
"We are very confident that like their New Zealand counterparts, Australian employers will find this unique service a cost-effective way to source and employ competent, skilled staff", she said.
Ms Arnerich said that with over 3 million hits in 2003, www.seasonalwork.co.nz has become a first choice source of employment information in New Zealand for not only seasonal workers but also for backpackers from around the world.
"We expect site traffic flows between the sites to grow organically as backpackers travel between Australia and New Zealand", says Ms Arnerich.
"Seasonal Work NZ also plans to extend services beyond its primary clientele in horticulture to other New Zealand industry sectors", said Ms Arnerich. "We have been very pleased with the response so far to our expanded industry service especially from clients in the hospitality and catering sectors".
"With applicants arriving here prepared to work with a happy positive attitude", says Ms Arnerich, "many clients are reporting high levels of satisfaction with the service to us on a regular basis".
