When asked why she chose pumpkins" as her theme for the Fall collection this year, Carrie stated Pumpkins are one of the most creative aspects of Halloween. Everyone starts with the basic pumpkin and carves a vision of what they want Halloween to be to them. I think back to my childhood and how I would love to sit and carve the pumpkin each year and make a design that stood out from all the others."

Carrie has since moved to carry on that tradition with her own children. She stated that we pick out the pumpkins together and then it is almost ceremonial how we draw the faces on and carve them together. The evening always ends with the candles placed inside, the lights are turned off and we marvel at our creations. Carving pumpkins is such a personal thing, which is why I didn't put faces on my designs! They are intended to allow people to remember-- picking out the perfect pumpkin, taking it home and figuring out how to draw the perfect funny or scary face on it! I wanted to share this creative aspect and memories with all my customers. When someone thinks of Fall, they think of pumpkins and what a better way to express some good cheer and thoughts then with my Fall line of pumpkin cards that the receiver can keep forever?!"
