InfoValue Computing, Inc. ("InfoValue"), experts in broadband video streaming, today announced Interactive Convention©, the state-of-the-art video streaming solution to disseminate meeting presentations to allow interactive viewing by attendees throughout the convention center, such as in common viewing areas, kiosks, or even hotel guest rooms. Using either a PC or a TV with a set-top box, an attendee can easily choose to follow a live presentation or play back a previous presentation.

Now convention attendees need never miss another presentation because of agenda conflicts. With this greater flexibility, attendance and participation will increase. Convention centers, conference organizers and hospitality providers now can gain greater revenues, attract more conventions, and increase hotel room occupancy rates.

Interactive Convention© provides a true, high-quality digital video experience over IP. The conventioneer can fully interact with the time-shifted presentation video through the use of DVD like controls including Instant Replay, Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward.

With InfoValue Interactive Convention©, digitally encoded meetings and presentations are broadcast in high quality video live on the facility's network. Simultaneously, the live video is recorded and made available for playback at any time, such as in the privacy of the attendee's hotel room. Meetings may be indexed based on presentation content thereby making subject matter searches quick and efficient for attendees. Recorded sessions can be offered for purchase after the event, providing even more revenue opportunities.

Interactive Convention© integrates seamlessly with InfoValue SuiteTV© in-room entertainment solution.

"Interactive Convention© is the latest example of InfoValue applying its expertise to develop advanced, reliable, high-performance video streaming solutions to contribute to our customers' success. In this case, our experience in serving the hospitality industry was especially important because it led us to identify solutions beyond traditional Movies-on-Demand that would result in their increased revenues," said Aubrey Flanagan, Vice President, Business Development and Solutions of InfoValue Computing.

InfoValue will officially introduce Interactive Convention© at the 2004 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) in booth #1447 in the Dallas Convention Center from June 21 through June 24.
