ChicagoPride.com Celebrates One Year with Pride

As part of Pride Month, ChicagoPride.com is pleased to announce its first anniversary since merging with Qchicago.com. "Over the past year, we have achieved our goal of integrating QChicago.com and ChicagoPride.com to help promote the celebration of diversity in Chicago," said R. Matthew Inawat, President, "and for this coming year, we have a very different objective. This year, we intend to make it our priority to support, assist and partner with the many fine community organizations which contribute daily to our LesBiGay community."

(PRWEB) June 19, 2004 -- As part of Pride Month, ChicagoPride.com is pleased to announce its first anniversary since merging with Qchicago.com.

"There is no better time then Pride week to celebrate a project so heavily focused on promoting our community," said S. James Long, Senior Vice President.

It was on June 23rd, 2003 that OutPride.com, LLC a Chicago-based not-for-profit company announced a strategic alliance between ChicagoPride.com and QChicago.com to merge both websites into the ChicagoPride.com brand.

Since merging, ChicagoPride.com has consistently been ranked in the top 1% of all websites and the popular site continues to increase membership, due in part to the highly successful and free MatchMaker personals.

During the past year, ChicagoPride.com has added unique local content and has unveiled new partnerships to showcase the vibrancy and diversity of our community, while giving visibility to LGBT charities, organizations and businesses. Through in-kind donations and sponsorships, ChicagoPride.com continues to give back to our community.

In addition, ChicagoPride.com launched Chicago's first gay and lesbian interactive business marketplace directory. The searchable, multi-indexed, cross-categorized database of businesses includes comprehensive information on businesses in the community.
