Media MBA accepts applications for Asian and American Study Tours

The Media MBA of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, is currently accepting applications for its Asian and American Study Tours.

(PRWEB) June 20, 2004 -- The Asian Study Tour (26. September - 09. October 2004) will be conducted at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), School of Communication and Information in Singapore. During the two-week program at NTU, participants will explore a developing market, Asian media and telco businesses and the local business culture while interacting with prominent entrepreneurs and large corporations. Participants work closely with Asian businesses on consult on actual business problems, attend lectures and visit companies. A select highlight includes a two-day Corporate Strategy Workshop for Media/Telco companies with Dr. Vincent Cyril Demitrius Pereira, renowned Hong Kong-based independent media strategy consultant, former Director of the South China Morning Post and Asia Magazine and Chairman of the Society of Publishers in Asia.

The American Study Tour (25. October - 12. November 2004) will be conducted at Saint Marys College of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) in conjunction with the Disney Forum at St. Mary's SEBA in California. During the three-week program, participants will gain an outstanding overview of communication in the USA and entrepreneurship - Silicon Valley Style. Participants will also have the chance to consult on actual business problems with a high-level executive mentor. Highlights from 2003 include lectures from Robert Wussler, co-founder of CNN and current president of Turner Pictures and Deborah Amos, ABC news correspondent. Company visits included: Apple Computer, Hewlett Packard, Dolby Laboratories and many other prominent enterprises. In addition, students met with Peter Jennings, ABC News and George Lucas, Lucasfilms.
