Acme Business Machines Earns Outstanding Service Distinctions and Certifications

Acme is the only Minolta dealer in Virginia to receive this honor and only one of two Minolta dealers to earn the distinction in MD and VA according to Chris Demars, Acme Business Machines service manager.

At the same time, Microsoft has certified Nathan Horstmann, Acmes manager of information services, as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE). Acme is the only copier dealer in the state to have an MCSE on staff, says Horstmann. This high-level certification, which is more common among the computer technology suppliers, allows Horstmann to engineer both wide area and local area network computer systems, and enables him to design and troubleshoot Windows 2000 network environments. The certification comes from Microsoft and was earned through an intensive nine-month program demanding 10 hours per week at ECPI.
