More Evidence Google Search Engine Supports Kerry

Popular search engine permits advertisements advocating against President Bush while employees contribute thousands to Kerry. Could this be Googlegate?"

Shinnston, WV (PRWEB) June 20, 2004 -- Kush and Associates, LLC, a political consulting firm with offices in West Virginia and New Jersey, continues to question Googles motives after the worlds number one search engine discontinued an advertisement because it advocated against other political parties, organizations, candidates, etc."

Kush and Associates Founding Partner, Steve Kush explained, We were running a paid advertisement with Google. Out of the blue Google sent us an email explaining they discontinued our ad because it 'advocates against an individual, group, or organization. In a follow-up email they told us they could 'confirm that the 'Kerry Bashing' link on our website 'does not meet our advertising guidelines and went on to say, 'If you remove this link, we will be able to approve your ad. However, please keep in mind that we may continue to monitor your site, and will disapprove it if we find other language advocating against other political parties, organizations, candidates, etc."

Kush said, This morning I typed Democrat in the Google search engine and I was amazed to see three advertisements that advocate against President Bush. Last night I did the same thing and found the advertisement for activedemocracy.org blatantly advocated against the President. The ad read, 'Join Project 10,000 We are looking for 10,000 citizens who will help defeat President Bush. Today their ad reads, 'Defeat Bush. Buy President Bush a one way bus ticket back to Crawford, TX. Clearly the ad still advocates against the President."

I even found a paid advertisement for johnkerry.com" Kush added, I figured his site probably advocates against other political parties, organizations, candidates, etc., in direct violation of Googles policy, so I looked at his site and discovered you can read his speeches and view his commercials, all of which advocate against President Bush. Obviously Google allows John Kerry to advocate against other political parties and candidates but not Kush and Associates."

Kush continued, I decided to investigate why Google applies this double standard of permitting Democrats to advocate against Republicans while not permitting Republicans to advocate against Democrats. I searched campaign finance records and discovered Google employees have contributed $61,100 to the Kerry campaign. Google employees also contributed $23,000 to the DNC Services Corp. This is $84,100 dedicated to defeating Bush. I believe anyone can see why Google applies this double standard."

Kush and Associates Managing Partner, James Barracato concluded, "Considering campaign finance records show Google's CEO contributed well over $50,000 to Democrats all advertisers supporting Bush should stop giving him money to spend against the President and pull their ads immediately."
