Stroke Victim Writes Romance Adventure
Author of romance Lord Tricking suffered two strokes five years ago and was forced to stop working. Time, patience, and much work and home study enabled Belita Rennicks to write and recieve a contact with a traditional publisher.
(PRWEB) June 22, 2004 -- Unable to work outside the home any longer, Belita Rennicks decided to try her life's dream and write. Her first attempt was short stories, and although suffering from seizures from the stroke she struggled through and completed and recieved her first contract for It's A Dog's Life by Belita Keaton.
Then came the hard part writing the romance she had always wanted to write. It took two years of struggle with her health problems and home studies, but she finally completed her first romance Lord Tricking by Kim Parson. Lord Tricking is a romance adventure, Belita said she would get a contract with a traditional publisher or she would not publish.
Being out of work, it was a logical decision, as she had no money for self publishing and advertising. Her husband (a Deputy Sheriff) has the sole responsibility of supporting her and helping with adverstising of traditionally published books. A hairdresser for twenty five years it was hard for Belita to work in an enviroment without people. She greatly misses seeing everyone in the salon, but she also loves writing. Her first romance, Lord Tricking was released mid-May. She also has a contract for a spicy romance, Lord Sirius due to be published at the end of 2004. She is currently working on finding an agent for her latest romance Lord Gothian.
