CodeCharge Studio Rapid Web Application Development Technology to be Included with R:WEB Suite

YesSoftware today announced that R:BASE Technologies, the leading developer of the Industrial Strength Multi-User True Relational database R:BASE, will bundle CodeCharge Studio for R:BASE into R:WEB Suite, which also includes R:BASE 7.1 for Windows and Oterro 3.0. The new software will provide R:BASE developers with the ability to build high-performance Web applications connecting to their existing R:BASE database - without writing code.

CodeCharge Studio, YesSoftware's premier visual rapid application development (RAD) tool, will now fully support the R:BASE True Relational database. R:BASE developers will be able to easily develop Web applications that leverage professional-level, object-oriented code in .NET (C# & VB), Java (JSP & Servlets), ASP, PHP, ColdFusion and Perl.

"Every web application needs a visual, rapid application development tool and a solid back-end database," said Dr. Razzak Memon, R:BASE Technologies' President and CEO. "YesSoftware has the tool and R:BASE Technologies has the robust and true-relational database that supports temporary tables and views, along with stored procedures and triggers. CodeCharge Studio’s inclusion in the R:WEB Suite will greatly benefit our users by significantly reducing the overall development time of Web applications for R:BASE developers."

CodeCharge Studio's intuitive point-and-click wizards speed up development by automatically generating all the source code for the Web application. Developers simply specify the application's user interactions and logic based on their R:BASE database.

"New and advanced Web application developers no longer need to endure hard-to-learn and hard-to-use web development tools. With CodeCharge Studio, R:BASE developers will find developing Web applications as easy as creating desktop applications with R:BASE," said Konrad Musial, CEO of YesSoftware. "CodeCharge Studio’s ease-of-use, documentation and code examples, and overall effectiveness will help R:BASE users expand their skill sets and quickly develop Web applications without programming."
