Film and TV star Kenan Thompson makes celebrity appearance at Entertainment Outlet In NYC

In celebration of the release of the Barbershop 2 Special Edition DVD, actor and comedian Kenan Thompson will be make a special appearance on Tuesday, June 29th from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Entertainment Outlet located at 8 West 40th St. Thompson will be available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans as well as give away DVDs and other gifts, courtesy of MGM Home Entertainment. The first 30 attendees will receive their choice of either the “Barbershop 2” CD soundtrack or an official “Barbershop 2” baseball cap.

Kenan Thompson recently joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” as a featured star. He was also just seen in Love Don’t Cost A Thing and will be playing the lead role in the upcoming live action version of Fat Albert.

A native of Atlanta, Thompson made his television debut as a member of Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series “All That.” He and his partner Kel Mitchell debuted in a spin-off show, “Kenan and Kel”, in 1996. Thompson has also had a recurring role on “Felicity.” His feature film credits include D2: The Mighty Ducks, Good Burger, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Heavyweights, and My Boss’s Daughter.

Entertainment Outlet, which has two prime retail locations in NYC, features over 5,000 DVD titles as well as CDs, Games, VHS and Electronics. The 8 West 40th Street location, where Thompson will be appearing, is across the street from Bryant Park, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
