World's First Homeland Security, Helicopter Counter-Terrorism Seminar at Charlotte During ALEA's Annual Convention on July 20-21st for Airborne Law Enforcement

Security Solutions International, the International Homeland Security training leaders, are bringing in two Israeli expert pilots to train US law enforcement in using the helicopter in support of Homeland Security.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) June 24, 2004 -- Security Solutions International will be presenting the first ever seminar for Helicopter Law Enforcement by Israeli Law Enforcement Pilot at the ALEA annual conference held in Charlotte, NC on July 20th and July 21st. This first ever instance of international cooperation between US Airborne law enforcement and Israeli pilots in fighting the war on terror will take place at the prestigious ALEA annual conference which attracts every airborne law enforcement agency in the US.

SSI is bringing in one of the world's leading experts in law enforcement and helicopter operations in the context of counter-terrorism. Jacob (Biko) Biran, a military Colonel and police Commander was the Head of the Joint Combat Operational Doctrine Department for the IDF's General Staff during his military service. He was the Head of the National Police Unit and Head of the Aviation department at National Police H.Q, where according to Israeli military sources he "wrote the book" on the use of the helicopter in counter-terrorism actions. He was instrumental in setting up Israel's law enforcement Aviation Unit. Today, he heads the aviation department of I.C.S.I. (Israel College of Security and Investigation) one of the know-how providers that SSI is proud to represent in the USA.

He is joined by Yuval Amibar. Amibar is a former IDF Air force Captain that flew Bell-AH Cobras, MD 500 Defenders and many other aircraft. He was a operations and doctrine officer in the Israeli Police Aviation unit and retired with the rank of Superintendant. He has lived and worked in the USA.

"We aim to put the Israeli experience in dealing with terror attacks at the service of US Law enforcement in a US context", says Sol Bradman, CEO of SSI and director of the aviation unit, and himself a rotor and fixed-wing pilot and instructor. "There is no course today for helicopter law enforcement pilots involved in terror incidents in the USA other then the SSI training program. We feel that US Homeland Security forces are doing a great job but they can learn from hard won Israeli trial and error and avoid repeating the errors. This is also a real opportunity for information sharing between US law enforcement and Israeli law enforcement both involved in the War on Terror."

SSI has just concluded a very successful series of seminars in Florida where Federal, State and Local Government, Law Enforcement and Government agencies attended to hear an Israeli expert in Counter-Terror and Explosives explain Suicide Terror. The seminars were endorsed by the Israeli consulate, the Miami Dade County League of Cities and the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. These seminars coincided with the FBI announcement that Suicide terror attacks are inevitable.
