Kebaili Corporation America's premier sensor technology company announced today it has developed the world's smallest hydrogen micro-sensor available on the market today. According to Dr. Mo Kebaili, Chief Technology Officer of Kebaili Corporation, the hydrogen micro-sensor chip is only: 1.00 mm x 1.00 mm x 0.38 mm, detects hydrogen from 0 to 100% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit), does not have cross-sensitivity to methane and other flammable gases, and has a low power consumption of less than 25 milliwatts.

The innovative technology used to design and manufacture the hydrogen micro-sensor is based on Kebaili expertise and state-of-the-art proprietary processes using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) micro-machined silicon technology, and nanotechnology.

Kebaili hydrogen micro-sensor will play a major role in hydrogen safety applications for the hydrogen infrastructure, and hydrogen-based fuel cell vehicles, as the world moves toward a hydrogen economy.

About Kebaili

Kebaili Corporation is a leading California based high-tech company; located in the Irvine area in Southern California. With the help of its team of talented and experienced R&D scientists and engineers, Kebaili has developed a set of proprietary processes in MEMS/NEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems, Nano-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) and nanotechnology, to design and manufacture an innovative, and state-of-the-art new line of MEMS-based micro-transducers and micro-sensors.

Kebaili designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of instruments based on its MEMS/NEMS sensor technologies, and other commercially available sensor technologies. These instruments are used for industrial, medical, automotive, and consumer applications.
