NAMWOLF Lauds Indiana University's Use of Minority Law Firms on $20,620,000 Bond Offering

The National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms is pleased that Indiana University--under the new leadership of Dr. Adam Herbert--has utilized the services of two Indiana-based minority-owned law firms in connection with a recent bond financing.

INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) June 24, 2004 -- The National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) is pleased that Indiana University-under the new leadership of Dr. Adam Herbert-has utilized the services of two Indiana-based minority-owned law firms in connection with a recent bond financing.

Prior to Dr. Herberts arrival, NAMWOLF urged Indiana University to consider the many qualified minority and women-owned law firms in the state of Indiana for some of its legal work. Indeed, in the year prior to Dr. Herberts arrival, Indiana University spent in excess of $1,703,868 on outside counsel. But less than 1% went to minority-owned law firms.

Fortunately, through Dr. Herberts leadership and vision, Indiana University has now come to recognize that talent and skill can be found in women and minority-owned firms," stated Yolanda Coly, Associate Director of NAMWOLF.
