This latest version of Visual Hindsight supports virtually all network cameras and video servers capable of producing industry-standard JPEG still images or Motion-JPEG image streams, including cameras and video servers manufactured by Axis, D-Link, ELMO, Flexwatch, Hunt, IDView, IQinVision, JVC, Orite, Panasonic, PDuke, Pixord, Sony, Toshiba, TLC Watch, Vivotek and more. It allows real-time viewing of up to 100 cameras and video servers while simultaneously recording up to 50 live video streams directly to disk as compressed AVI files.
Visual Hindsight operates in single or multi-user mode; in multi-user mode, it provides a shared URL database and support for concurrent users, and offers operator logon access to control URL modification and viewing privileges. A database engine that incorporates a 160-bit encryption algorithm ensures data integrity and security.
Other functions include a Retention Monitor for optimal use of recording disk space, automatic reconnection of dropped connections, automatic record-on-connect, and motion-detection recording. User interface languages include English, French, Italian and Spanish, with support for dynamic switching between languages during program operation.
