(PRWEB) June 27, 2004 - News Alert: We have just learned that two of Land Grove's most prominent citizens have been brutally murdered, their bodies were discovered in a bathroom of the Dride Motel, located in Land Grove. This exclusive subdivision made headlines recently when one of the clerks in the City Council uncovered an elaborate embezzlement scheme that netted the two people involved more than two million dollars. Sadly, this morning, Land Grove has again been thrust into the public eye. Police tell us the two bodies were found by a curious maid who noticed the sound of running water, for a long period of time, coming from Room 210. Using her passkey she entered the room and found the stiff, cold, lifeless, bodies were lying facedown in a pool of dried blood, on the bathroom floor. More information will follow as we receive it here in our newsroom.
Jane sits and ponders the future of her marriage and sips her third cup of special tea. Lately the tea along with the tiny green pills prescribed by her doctor had stopped working. She could feel the menace, huddling just beneath her skin waiting for the momentum to build. As it got stronger and stronger it ground away at her spine, snaking its way to the back of her neck, her temples... slowly driving her mad. Meanwhile, the main character sits in her Chapter One - in brief: d most of the time trying to cope with just surviving. When she suddenly comes face to face with an illicit homosexual love affair and the betrayal of her mainstay, she is totally unprepared.
Janes headaches began in her early 20s when she began to internalize all her feelings -- the pain of losing her mother, her father, and most of all the tragic loss of her first husband whom she adored.
Bill, Janes new husband, has visions of being her knight in shining armor and will find a cure for the mysterious headache pain. He is beginning to fear her uncontrollable outbursts. But Bill has mounting problems of his own. He is trying to keep his home intact, keep his wife happy and sane, keep his own sanity, and still be an effective member of the prominent city council. As president of the judicial board, he is often called upon to handle the political unrest that erupts daily in the city council hearings, and which keeps him busy until sometime well into the night.
Jane has the suspicion that her husband is cheating with one of the office assistants in his best friends office, but has been unable to prove what she fears. However, determined to get to the bottom of whatever is going on at his office, she goes to great lengths to bring his misdeeds to a head.
Unable to cope with the horrendous headache pain any longer, Jane is finally driven to the unspeakable and brutal act of murder, which in her demented state of mind, she considers to be a plain and simple act of kindness.
