Indie Tulsa Filmworks Promotes Sumner

Indie Tulsa Filmworks, an independent film company, has promoted Phillip Sumner to Creative Director.

(PRWEB) June 28, 2004 -- Indie Tulsa Filmworks, an independent film company, has promoted Phillip Sumner to Creative Director. Sumner most recently served as Director of two short films for ITF, "Stall Stalker" and "Just Another Prom Movie".

Indie Tulsa's Producer Emeritus, Bosco T. Jones made the annoucement via company wide e-mail on Friday. Jones cited Sumner's strong work ethic, and sense of humor as the principal reasons for the move.

Sumner's first order of business will likely be naming himself to direct the company's new short film/sitcom pilot entitled "The Company Ink". Production is slated to begin in late summer.

His next project, a feature film written by Sumner himself, a football movie called "The Placekicker", may or may not be produced by Indie Tulsa. Sumner says his bosses gave him permission to shop the script around to the big studios before making it independently.
